Summary: I loved the look of the building inside and outside. Their breakfast was very good but I think it was a little pricey at $18 a person. I was able to find breakfast for a little less at the surrounding cafes. The self check in was easy. I have read complaints about the rooms and service but they always responded to me quickly through WhatsApp. I did have some issues with my original room. One of the curtains was torn, the cold box was not working and there was a fairly large tear in the carpet that I kept tripping over. When I notified them of these issues the moved me to another room. All in all my stay at the Benjamin House was wonderful! The only complaint I have is you have to request housekeeping if you are staying more than three days. My husband works in Riga at this time so I was there for 2 weeks spending time with him and I had to request housekeeping about every 3 days. If I’m staying somewhere for 2 weeks I don’t feel like I should have to request housekeeping but other than that I enjoyed my stay at the Benjamin House.
